Flexible servicing, your way
While daily housekeeping isn’t provided, it is available if requested.

Choose the servicing level that suits your plans, daily freshen-ups, a mid-stay reset, or a full service. We refresh linens, remove rubbish, restock essentials, and check everything is just right, perfect for longer stays and family trips.

Our team brings local knowledge, warm hospitality, and genuine care to every stay. Each member plays a key role in ensuring your experience feels organised, welcoming, and supported from the moment you arrive.

Karen brings a genuine passion for the Wānaka lifestyle to everything she does. Having called this spectacular region home for over 25 years—where she raised her three daughters—she remains deeply connected to the local community.Her leadership is backed by a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago and a strong background in accounting and finance, complemented by years of high-end international experience working aboard luxury superyachts. This unique blend of financial precision and world-class hospitality standard ensures that operations run flawlessly.Now managing Marina Terrace, Karen is immensely proud of the exceptional level and style of accommodation the property offers guests. When she isn’t overseeing the estate, you’ll likely find her making the most of the seasons—whether she’s carving tracks at Treble Cone and Cardrona in the winter or enjoying a scenic mountain bike ride to the local wineries in the summer.

With four decades of experience in the international and New Zealand hospitality sectors, Helen is the heart of our guest experience. Originally from Taranaki, she has spent the last 30 years exploring the Deep South, developing an encyclopedic knowledge of the region’s hidden gems. Helen’s warmth and expertise ensure every reservation is handled with care. Away from the desk, she is an avid traveler and hiker, always eager to immerse herself in the South Island’s breathtaking natural scenery.

Claire joined us in 2023, bringing a sophisticated, international perspective to the Marina Terrace team. Hailing from Nice on the French Riviera, she holds a Master’s in Business and Management and has a diverse professional background spanning luxury fashion and global hospitality. Claire has quickly embraced the Wanaka life alongside her partner—the head chef at Bistro Gentil—and their young daughter. A lover of fine wine, yoga, and the local culinary scene, Claire’s eye for detail ensures our high standards are met with effortless French flair.
